Building Use
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Ames welcomes you! While our building's primary use is for Fellowship activities, we also make it available through rental as an attractive, convenient and accommodating space for community gatherings. Our building features:
- A large, multipurpose meeting area — our Fellowship Hall — with excellent exterior views, flexible arrangement for many kinds of events, a moveable stage, a grand piano, a hardwood dance floor, and a sound system with a individual assistive devices.
- A catering kitchen designed for both large and small functions.
- Carpeting in the Fireside Room — a spacious but warm and comfortable area for large casual gatherings and meetings.
- Home-like furnishings throughout the Tower Room, an excellent space for smaller groups. Has Internet access.
- A nursery area with a private restroom designed for the needs of toddlers, babies, and their parents and caregivers.
- Handicap access throughout the building, with entrances on both the main floor and from the south parking lot. An elevator provides access to all three floors.
- Beautiful classrooms, offices, library and additional restrooms in the lower level of our building.
- Classrooms and a mini-kitchen on the uppermost floor.
