Andrew adds observations from the Coming of Age group’s visit to the UUSC’s headquarters to what the other two think they already know.

We’ve come a long way since National Coming Out Day began in 1988, but change is incremental for individuals, groups, and society. Join us as we explore the idea that “the only measure of your words and your deeds will be the love you leave behind when you’re done” as a core value in marriage equality and being fully whoever we are.

Members of the Green Sanctuary Committee will share a snapshot of the UUFA and our members’ current environmental attitudes and practices and talk about becoming a Green Sanctuary Congregation.

People around the world engage in an annual ritual of remembrance. We choose the fall as a time when nature is getting ready to sleep and we search back for that wisdom of our ancestors. As part of our time together, we will construct an altar of memories; please bring a photograph or artifact that reminds you of someone you would like to honor. This service will also include child dedications. If you are interested in participating in this ceremony to welcome children into our Fellowship, please contact Brian.
