Our Whole Lives (OWL)

This comprehensive, values based sexuality curriculum is offered to students in Grades 7-8 (alternating years with Coming of Age). The 26 session program delivers comprehensive physiological information about sexuality through a lens of UU values that encourage postponing sexual activity until each person is old enough and mature enough to comprehend and integrate these actions into their lives in holistic ways.

High School OWL is offered once each month during youth group. Topics from middle school OWL (relationships, gender, contraceptives, healthy interactions, etc.) are expanded on for this age group, with the same goals of choosing and creating relationships that foster holistic and healthy lives.
