Social Justice Mission Statement

The mission of the Social Justice committee is to improve communication and cooperation within the Fellowship to enhance social justice within our community, country and world.  To do this, we will identify UU members who are already doing social justice within and outside of the Fellowship and connect them as mentors with other UU members.  We will interface with the program committee to keep social justice issues in front of the Fellowship. We will organize to cover unmet social justice needs. We will work in coalition with other social justice entities, like AMOS and ICCI.  We will disseminate social justice information in the monthly newsletter, weekly email, Sunday program, social justice table and on our bulletin board.  We will keep the Welcoming Congregation and any other UU social justice programs viable in the UUFA.
