Summer Religious Education Schedule

At 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings during the summer months, we have a loosely structured environment of fun and community building for children who attend.  Children who are going into Kindergarten or Grades 1-5 in Fall 2010 may participate in this program.  Younger children should go to the nursery during this time.  Older children should contact the DYCM if they wish to be paid childcare helpers during this time.

Anda Tanaka, former UUFA nursery coordinator and current St. Olaf College student, will be with us this summer as the coordinator of this multi-age program.  Ritual, story telling, arts projects, free play and snacks will be usual components for this program. Because our summer program is dependent on teen helpers and parent volunteers to assist Anda, families are asked to check in with Anda each week to make certain there are enough volunteers before leaving your child in Anda's care.  Children are always welcome to stay with their families in the Sunday morning service - but it won't be as much fun!  Wear comfortable play clothes to this program.

Please note - there will be NO summer program for children on Sunday, July 4, 2010.
