What sort of people go to this church?
Our members and friends have a wide variety of religious backgrounds and theological philosophies. We welcome
- Single people, couples, families
- Children, college students, adults, seniors
- Members of all ethnic groups
- Heterosexual, bisexual, gay, lesbian and transgendered individuals and partners
- Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Wiccans, humanists, atheists, and many others
Is it OK to just show up and take a look?
Yes. We welcome visitors at any time. The Fellowship office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Wednesdays 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, but the best time to visit might be on Sunday mornings when we have services.
What time are Sunday services?
Starting the Sunday after Labor Day and concluding in May, we have two Sunday programs, at 9:15 and 11:00 am. The program is the same for both services.
During the summer, we meet in a single service at 10:00 am. Check the current Newsletter for details about meeting times and service topics.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. Nursery care for children up to age 3 is provided during all Sunday programs. During the school year, religious education -- Sunday school -- for children through eighth grade is available during the 9:15 AM program. High school youth meet between our services at 10:20-11:50 am.
During the summer, activities for children through sixth grade are available during the single 10:00 am service.

How do I get to your church?
Our building
Our street address is 1015 N. Hyland Avenue. North Hyland runs along the west edge of the Iowa State University campus, from Lincoln Way to Ontario Street. Ontario Street is the same as 13th Street.
A lower parking lot in front of the building includes accessible and visitor spaces. A second lot is 100 feet north (uphill). The city prohibits parking on Hyland Avenue. If both lots are full, go further uphill and park along Ross Road (the nearest side street), or use the Design Center parking lot across from the ISU cemetery.
How should we dress?
Dress is casual. Jeans and a casual shirt are fine. Wear whatever clothes feel comfortable to you. Some people dress more formally, so you can, too, if you want. No matter how you dress, chances are good that there will be someone else who is dressed similarly.
In the summer, lots of people wear shorts.
Children should wear clothes they can play in.
