Conscientious Crafters

UUFA Conscientious Crafters is an open group that gathers for periodic retreats (usually on a quarterly basis September - May) for fellowship while crafting. Each person brings whatever craft project she/he wants. The group started as a knitting group, but changed the name, as crocheters, felters, needlepointers and others joined. The group's activities vary greatly, and have included field trips to local yarn shops; participating in the Fellowship's annual auction by making sweaters, scarves and hats; making sweaters that were sent to India to children who could not go to school in the winter because the school had no heat; etc. But mostly, they simply enjoy each other's company while getting help with their projects, learning new skills from experienced crafters, and just working with textiles while chatting. For more information on scheduling and reminders, please contact the UUFA office.

In-Home Potlucks

"I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship."  ~Brené Brown

In-home potlucks have been a UUFA tradition for years.  These informal gatherings are open to all members and friends, and serve to strengthen the bonds that are a vital part of our Fellowship.  The food is always delicious, the conversation always engaging!  Whether you want to host or attend (or maybe even both!), UUFA in-home potlucks are an excellent way to build connections with others and share fun, food, and fellowship.  Simply fill out the form below or click here for a PDF version!

Feel free to email if you have any questions.
